Third-generation wood carver from Mysuru, crafting heirloom-quality pieces from sustainably sourced teak. Every piece carries the weight of tradition and the warmth of hand-touched wood.
The craft
I learned to carve wood sitting beside my grandfather in his small workshop in the outskirts of Mysuru. He would say — wood doesn't resist you, it guides you. That philosophy has stayed with me through twenty years of crafting.
Every piece I make starts with selecting the right timber. I source teak exclusively from certified forests in Karnataka, ensuring no old-growth trees are touched. The wood is then seasoned for at least six months before I ever pick up a chisel.
What I make isn't furniture or decoration — it's memory. People come back years later to tell me their children play with the elephants I carved. That's the only metric I care about.
"Traditional Mysuru palace carvings and the organic geometry found in forest floors — fallen leaves, bark patterns, root systems."
Process
Each piece is hand-carved, never machined. Finishing is done with natural beeswax and linseed oil — no synthetic lacquers.

The teak elephant I ordered is absolutely stunning. The detail in the carving is incredible — you can see every grain of the wood. Ravi also sent a handwritten note with the package. Will order again.

Ordered the cutlery set as a wedding gift. The recipient called me the moment it arrived — they were genuinely moved. Exceptional craftsmanship and fast delivery.

Beautiful work and great communication throughout. Took slightly longer than expected but Ravi kept me updated. The finished piece was worth every day of the wait.
